About BCEW
Blind Cricket England & Wales (BCEW) is the governing body for blind and partially sighted cricket in England and Wales. We run national leagues and cup competitions, select national teams, and support clubs, coaches, and players across the country.
What is blind cricket?
Blind cricket is played with a hard, hollow ball filled with ball bearings so it can be heard as it moves. The ball is a high-visibility amber colour so players with residual sight can track it, and the rules adapt the traditional game to the needs of its players — for example, the ball is always bowled underarm and must pitch at least twice before reaching the batter.

Privacy & analytics
BCEW Hub uses self-hosted analytics to understand which features are being used and to improve the site. We record page views and a small set of events (for example, opening a scorecard or using search). We do not record search query text, names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any other personal information. We don't use cookies for analytics, and we don't share this data with anyone — it stays on our own servers.
